MY HOLY GRAIL LIP LINER | Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Cheat Lip Liner Review

Be hold the infamous cult classic Lip Cheat Lip Liner from Charlotte Tilbury in the shade 'Pillow Talk'. This little beauty is massively hyped up on the interwebs, it's loved and adored by so many people so I wanted to get my hands on it and see what the fuss is all about.

If you've seen my Pillow Talk Lipstick review, I mentioned that I already purchased the lip liner a few months back and I've been meaning to do a review for it. So without further a do...

Pillow Talk is a beautiful neutral pink shade that works for so many skin tones as it adapts to your lip colour. It's amazing at reshaping your lips to appear fuller and even.
It's perfect to wear under any nude-pink lipstick. I usually pair this with 'Bitch Perfect' or 'Stoned Rose' from her lipstick range... as well as of course her newest edition 'Pillow Talk', which works perfectly, obviously! But I also enjoy pairing it with a variety of nude MAC lipsticks too. 

I really love applying this too... the formula is so smooth and velvety, it applies like a dream. It's really pigmented too which saves a lot of time when filling in. And it's fairly long lasting - I would say about five to six hours.

Now I understand what all the fuss is about. It's pretty much perfection in lip liner form. My ultimate holy grail lip liner, the one that's on my list of things that I couldn't live without! Have you tried it?

Stoned Rose

Oops, I did it again... I picked up another one of Charlotte Tilbury's beautiful lipsticks. This time, I chose 'Stoned Rose'.
I was actually planning on wearing this shade for my wedding day, but changed my mind at the last minute, as you do...

Stoned Rose is a gorgeous browny-rose shade. And, is part of Charlotte's K.I.S.S.I.N.G Fallen from the Lipstick Tree range. These lippys are enriched with Tilbury's 'secret ingredient', an anti-oxidant that naturally protects the lips from UV damage and external pollution leaving them cashmere soft. As well as this, they use special waxes and clever light-diffusing pigments for full-bodied perfect lips.

The lipstick guilds on to the lips beautifully, as do all of Charlotte's lipsticks. The longevity is great too. Her lipsticks tend to last 5 hours on me, depending on what I've eaten and drank that day. And, as always I'm super impressed with the beautiful rose gold art deco inspired packaging.

This one ticks all the boxes from me, 5 stars! It's the perfect autumnal, winter nude shade. Great for every day use.

Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect

Charlotte Tilbury's lipsticks have been on my beauty wish-list for quite some time and I finally splurged and bought 'Bitch Perfect' from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G collection. There are ten shades in total and they retail at £23 a pop.

Whilst I was at a Charlotte Tilbury counter, I was debating between getting 'Bitch Perfect', 'Red Carpet Red' and 'Love Liberty'. All stunning shades, but I settled on 'Bitch Perfect' as I don't have anything quite like this in my collection!

'Bitch perfect' is a lightly muted, coral shade, with a hint of pink. A lovely light luminous satin finish which glides onto your lips beautifully and feels super creamy and moisturising on the lips. The only downside to this lipstick is the longevity, it isn't amazing. It lasts around 3 hours before I need to touch up again.

Though, what I particularly love about the lipstick is the packaging! A beautiful vintage-styled rose gold metal casing which adds a little glamour to your make-up bag. It's very art-deco and I love it!

Overall, I am really impressed with my very first Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick, it's the perfect 'your lips but better' shade. And, I just love whipping this out and applying, it makes me feel so glamorous and fancy smacy.

I'll definitely be adding some more shades to my collection very soon...
