4 Nude Lipsticks I Wear On The Daily

Nudes nudes nudes. I'm all about those nudes, lipsticks of course... you raunchy readers. These are the ones I reach for the most.

Charlotte Tilbury's 'Bitch Perfect'. I can't express how much I love this lipstick, you know when you find the 'one'... well this is it! It's the most gorgeous peachy-nude shade and it applies so smoothly on the lips. If you're fair or have ginger locks, definitely give this a go, you will not be disappointed.

Chanel's Rouge Coco '402 Adrienne' will always have a special place in my heart as it was my wedding lipstick. Since my wedding day, I have been wearing this non-stop. It's the most gorgeous nude with a teeny bit of shimmer, which gives your lips dimension.

MAC's 'Brave'. I have to admit I haven't been wearing my MAC lipsticks as much as I used to these days, however, one that I do always reach for is 'Brave'. A lovely medium-dark pink nude with a tinge of brown.

If I want more of a matte finish, Charlotte Tilbury's iconic 'Pillow Talk' lipstick is the one I'd go for. It's a gorgeous pinky-nude with a teeny bit of brown.
I adore the formula of Charlotte Tilbury's matte finishes as they glide on effortlessly and makes your lips look incredible.

MAC Peach Blossom Lipstick Review

I can't believe I haven't reviewed any MAC lipsticks on my blog this year... Well, until now! Very unlike me, as I am a big fan of MAC's lippys and I normally buy at least one a month *hangs head in shame*!

Anyway, I got my hands on 'Peach Blossom' (£15.50) which is a cremesheen formulation. I don't own many cremesheens', but what I do know is that they are super moisturising - a lovely high glossy shine finish. Cremesheens' are almost like a lip balm, lipgloss and lipstick in one.
The formula and colour is actually very similar to 'Bare Again', which is my go to every-day nude, however 'Peach Blossom' is more on the pinky side.

MAC describe 'Peach Blossom' as a frosted cool nude shade which I don't really agree with, it's more of a pinky-peach nude shade with no frostiness.

I have to admit, I did think that this colour would be a little more on the peachier side hence the name, but I love it none the less. It's perfect for every day wear or it would be great as a bridal lippy.

The only downside to this lipstick is the longevity. It lasts for around 3 hours before needing to re-apply. But that is expected with high shine finishes'.

I don't think my pictures are really doing this lipstick much justice, it's honestly so beautiful and glossy in person. Seriously, next time you're at a MAC counter, swatch this! Or watch my Luxury Beauty Haul vlog to see it's beautifulness.

Overall, I'm completely and utterly in love with this lipstick. It's becoming a firm favourite nude lipstick of mine! I highly recommend this if you're on the look-out for a new subtle pinky gloss nude. It will suit most skin-types, especially fair to medium.

Love, Zoey

MAC Lipsticks | Men Love Mystery and Cosmo Review

I seriously have a problem... I can't stop buying MAC lipsticks! I've already got over twenty in my collection but I urge for more.

Whilst I was in London, I popped into the Covent Garden MAC store and tried and tested a bunch of lipsticks, but two really caught my eye - Men L
ove Mystery and Cosmo. They are completely different from one another, but both beautiful in their own individual ways.

 (Men Love Mystery lipstick swatch)

Men love mystery. Now this is your daring bold lipstick!
On MAC's website it is described as a 'Lavender Violet' and is a matte finish. And, this beauty is part of MAC's new matte collection.

At first I was a little scared by this colour, in person it looks a little daunting, however, once I swatched it on the lips, it actually looked really flattening! And, I think it works well with my faux ginger locks and brown eyes.

With matte formula's, you expect them to be a little drying, however this one is not at all. It's really creamy and glides on beautifully. After about thirty minutes, the formulation dries completely matte on the lips, which looses the creamyness but is still comfortable on the lips. Also the longevity is great too, it lasts around 5-6 hours without any touch ups!

(Cosmo Lipstick Swatch)

Cosmo. I think this has to be my new favourite every-day MAC lipstick! It's a beautiful soft pinky-nude-brown colour with blue undertones, which I personally think would look really flattening on all skin-tones.
I've worn this when I've been on holiday when I'm looking a little bronzed and it still looks lovely.

MAC describe Cosmo as a 'Pink Coco', and it's a Amplified Creme finish which means it's super creamy and moisturising on the lips. Likewise to Men Love Mystery, it glides on easily with no tugging.
The longevity is also fab for a creamy texture, it lasts for around 3-4 hours on my lips before I need to re-apply.

Love love love this! It's that shade you can wear every-day all year round!

New Lippies! MAC's Brave and Bare Again | Review

Not that I need any more MAC lipsticks... but, I feel like I don't have many nudes and neutral every-day kind of shades in my collection. It's all deep plums and reds and no 'your lips but better' colours.

I always find nude lipsticks a little daunting if I'm honest, I can rock any bright colour no problem but nudes have a tendency to wash me out and I end up looking like a corpse. But, it's safe to say that these two shades do not make me look dead!

I'm super happy that I brought these two, they are the perfect nudes and I highly recommended them for all the pale ginger haired girls out there.

Anyway, I did do a bit of research before buying these online, I was after the perfect everyday colour for pale skin and faux ginger hair, and MAC's Brave and Bare Again kept cropping up. So, I splurged and now here I am with a review.

 (MAC's Bare Again Swatch)

Bare Again. I'll begin with Bare Again which is my first ever sheen supreme lipstick from MAC! Bare Again is a gorgeous pinky neutral beige colour which I personally think would suit all skin tones, especially fair and medium.

These formula's are unlike the traditional MAC lipstick's, they are super creamy and moisturising on the lips, almost like a hybrid between a creamy lipstick and a lipgloss. They are a pleasure to put on as they glide on beautifully. As it is a creamy formula the staying power isn't out of this world, but I'd say Bare Again lasts around 2 hours before I need to re-apply.

Also, the pigmentation is quite sheer, however it is build-able so you can go from making this look semi sheer to completely opaque.

(MAC's Brave Swatch)

Brave. Up next we have Brave which is listed as a 'pink-beige with white pearl' on their website, and is a satin formula. I would actually describe Brave to be a medium-dark pink with a tinge of brown, which makes it fab for an every-day muted shade.

This formula can be a little drying as it is semi-matte, and can cling to dry patches on the lips, so I would recommend using a lip scrub or lip balm beforehand. Having said that, what I'm most impressed with is the lasting power of this lipstick, it's bloody great! I'd say it lasts for around 4 hours if I don't drink/eat anything, sometimes will last even longer!

Overall I'm super chuffed with my new neutral, every day, 'my lips but better' shades. However, I do want to expand my collection and  get some more neutral pinky tones. If you could recommend any, leave them in the comments below as I would love to know.

What I bought in San Francisco...

I did some serious damage whilst I was out in San Francisco, especially in MAC. I just couldn't help myself!

MAC Lipsticks are my favourite lipsticks of all time, the formulas are perfect, they last pretty much all day and I think they are fairly reasonably priced for a high-end lippy.

I'd been lusting after so many lipsticks recently and I'm really impressed that I only walked away with seven shades, considering my wish list had way over 20!

Anyway, I bought one Viva Glam, one limited edition and the rest are classic colours. I've swatched all the shades below if you're interested. There's a lot of reddy toned colours and surprisingly a few pinks as well!

From top to bottom: Impassioned, Girl About Town, Opera, Viva Glam |, Russian Red, Brick O La and Syrup!

I've also recently filmed a MAC Lipstick Collection with lip swatches, I've included all of the shades I picked up from San Francisco.
