Mini Tiger & Beauty Haul

I popped in to my local Tiger last week and got a few things.  Firstly I spotted these modern copper frames, they were £4 each. I think I'm going to put artist's work in them, or I may buy some prints from Etsy. I had a little browse on their website and I'm thinking this one? Or this? Or even this one? Ah, so many to chose from!

I also picked up two cards. I've got a few birthday's coming up and it's always handy to have some in the house! I'm really liking the the granny one - I might actually give this to my mum on her birthday... Ssh, don't tell her! 

As well as my little Tiger splurge, I needed a few beauty items as I ran out of bubble-bath and toner at the same time *panic mode*! I ended up running to town to pick up the Wild Argan Oil Bubble Bath, which was £8 from The Body Shop.

I've never actually tried their bubble bath's before, or even their Argan Oil range, but this was really comforting and smells lovely and rich. However, I do think £8 is a little pricey for such a small bottle. 

As well as the much needed bubble bath, I needed a new toner. I normally get Origin's United State, but they had ran out in John Lewis. So, the lady recommended the Make A Difference Plus+ toner. I've used it a few times and it is very gentle and soothing on the skin. But, I'm still yet to decide if this one is better than United State. I shall report back at a later date.

Fourth Anniversary | Mad Hatter's Tea Party at The Sanderson Hotel

Last week me and my boyfriend, Joe, celebrated four years of being together.

When I got home from work on the Monday evening he surprised me with Lily's! I always moan at him because I never get flowers, so this was lovely surprise. 

Anyway, the following morning, our actual anniversary date, the 30th September, I had planned a day in London for us. But first, I unwrapped my present, and it was this gorgeous Tatty Devine Clock brooch! I was actually going to buy this the weekend before when we went to the Southbank Centre, but Joe put me off buying it, cheeky devil.

Anyway, back to what I had planned... I had booked a table at the Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea, which is inside the Sanderson hotel. A quirky venue hidden behind Oxford Street. 

When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The menu is inside of a vintage book, sugar cubes were stored inside a retro musical jewellery box and there were a variety of unique tea's to chose from. We chose rhubarb & custard to begin with, and then we got a second pot filled with Apple Pie flavouring. Delicious!

After our tea arrived, the waiter brought over a three tier cake stand which was full of interesting sweet and savoury treats. My favourite was the 'Drink me' bottle which had three layers of joyful flavours followed by the white chocolate cheesecake. We didn't finish everything, but we got to take away a goody bag!

We then decided to wonder around Goodge Street and Marylebone! I've lived in London all my life and these places have never even crossed my mind, but I'm so glad we randomly decided to wonder around these areas... The street's were full of quirky interesting restaurants that have been tucked away behind the masses of shoppers. I'm definitely going to come back here at some point!

Shortly after, we walked back onto Oxford Street, and popped into Selfridges to have a browse. And, I walked away with a few cheeky items from the Primark concession. I didn't actually know they had one in Selfridges, but they had some gorgeous items. I wonder if they only stock particular products?

Anyway, I walked away with a lovely bag and a cosy knitted cardigan, which is perfect for autumn and winter. There will be a blog post on those items this week - so keep your eyes peeled for that!

It was getting a little late, so we headed towards Holborn, where our theatre was located.

We actually decided to get tickets for Charlie And The Chocolate Factory last minute and I'm so glad we did. It was amazing! The production was incredible, the oompa loompa's were brilliant and the cast were outstanding. Oh, and we were fortunate enough to get bumped up to better seats - this made our anniversary even more special!

After the show, we were feeling a little peckish so we went to Byron Hamburgers, we shared the 'Smokey' - words cannot describe how good it was! Mhmmm. Burger heaven!

And that was our anniversary day! I did vlog the whole day too, which I've added below.

London Day Out Vlog

My London Day Out Vlog went live thirty minutes ago. If you haven't already seen it, check it out below.

I haven't vlogged since Canada and felt like my camera skills were a little rusty but I do like the way this one has turned out. Also, that jazzy music in the beginning is so addictive, it's going to be stuck in my head for days now!

Anyway, in this vlog, me and Joe had a little venture around London. We started our day at The Breakfast Club, I had 'The All American' and it was delicious. Nothing like a good old fry up American style. We then walked down the river bank towards the South bank Centre, along the way we walked up and down the Millennium Bridge because we both hadn't been on it before. And then continued our way to the South bank Centre where Tatty Devine had a little exhibition slash shop showing off their amazing 15th birthday collection and other pieces. I also treated myself to some Geometric stud earrings. After that we decided to head towards Carnaby Street and Regent Street as I wanted to check out Anthropologie and & Other Stories. Of course I walked away with a few cheeky items which I blogged about earlier on in the week.

And so, the shopping continued, we ended up in H&M and I took a lovely jumper home with me. It's so snuggly and warm. After feeling all shopped out, we walked to Pret to feed our growling stomachs and then headed on home.

Cute Paperchase Finds

It appears that I can't stop spending. I have a problem. But everything is just so pretty, especially in Paperchase. 

Firstly, I picked up this gorgeous Eiffel Tower ring dish, and I know I've already bought one from Anthropologie that is pretty much identical but I just couldn't resist. Besides, I could use it for my ear-rings or as a home decoration in the living room. And if you're wondering how much it is, they retail at £8. I couldn't actually find the link on Paperchase's website for you, so I'm not sure if they are out of stock or what not.

Secondly I picked up an insulated cup with this adorable cat pattern all over it. This was £7 which is really reasonable, and I think it will be so handy for when I'm walking to work and need perking up.

And last but not least, I got this cute anniversary card for Joe, this was £2.25, and again, I couldn't seem to find it anywhere on Paperchase's website. So, apologies about that.

But yes, it was our anniversary on Tuesday the 30th September and so this will have been written and given to him by the time this blog post goes up!
We are celebrating four happy years together and we are spending the day in London at a very special venue. All will be revealed on here soon unless you have me on Instagram, then you already know!

Beauty Splurge

I've been very naughty with my spendings this month but they were on offer so I just couldn't help myself. In all serious though, someone should take my credit card away from me!!

Anyway, I went on a little beauty splurge this week. Firstly I ordered this antibacterial makeup spray by The Pro Hygiene Collection, which retails at £15. I highly recommend this to anyone, it is one of the best makeup brush cleaners I've ever used. I also purchased the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid eye liner, which was £13. I've used this before and it's really good, it doesn't budge, glides on easily, and is also one of my favourites. 

I then popped into Superdrug during the week and picked up hair-dye and my all time favourite shower gel. They were both on offer, if you purchased one item you'd get the other at half price. Pretty sweet if you ask me.

I've never tried Superdrug's Vibrance Mango Copper Burst before and so I wanted to give it a go as I want more of a ginger tone to my hair and it was a little bit cheaper than most hair dye's retailing at £4.49. At the moment, I've still got red it in, so I'm not sure how well it will absorb the colour, but I'll give it a go.

As well as the hair-dye, I purchased Original Source's Shower Gel in Coconut. Hands down the best shower gel ever! It's so lovely and exotic. And also reminds me of Thailand. But, seriously though, it was on offer for 99p so how could I say no! I should of taken 5 more home with me as I go through the stuff like water!

Anthropologie goodies

I had never heard of Anthropologie until a couple of weeks ago when a friend had mentioned that they do beautiful intricate home-ware items and that it would be right up my street. So after our little chat I went home and I had a nosey on their website, and yes she was right, everything was stunning and 'very me'. I want it all!

So when me and Joe headed into London last weekend, I just had to stop by at Anthropologie. I went to the Regent Street store, and as soon as you walk in, you are in heaven - interior heaven. There was interesting flavours of candles, a grass wall along the side and three floors full of joy.

It was so hard not to walk away with everything, but I had to restrain myself as I'm not a millionaire and needed to spend wisely.
I sadly only walked away with two items, a Paris ring dish and tea cup. But they are beautiful none the less. When I got to the till, I got 15% off as it was 'Anthro Day' or something like that, so that was a nice little bonus, and also the lady who served me was lovely, she wrapped my items delicately in layers of tissue paper and Anthropologie's signature tape. Lovely finishing touches.

Overall I am so pleased with what I bought. The tea cup is so pretty, it has some sort of elegance to it. And, I also adore that it has little feet in order for it to stand. Oh, and my ring dish is all sorts of awesome - it reminds me of mine and Joe's first holiday together. And, it also stores my Tatty Devine ring's beautifully.

At the moment, I'm gathering a little Anthro wish-list. Currently wanting these gorgeous branch hooks for my keys, the deer and rabbit plate, stunning pressed glass photo frames and this cute little candle to match my tea cup. So if anyone is feeling rather generous, send these things my way, just kidding! I may treat myself later on in the end, I do have a birthday coming up after all!

Canada Vlog Part 7

Yesterday the final part of our Canadian Vlog went live. The vlog is very chilled compared to the rest of the vlogs. This one mainly involves driving back to Vancouver and what we get up to along the way. I also vlogged our stay in Richmond, which is just South of Vancouver. Oh, and amazing Asian food in this area guys!

Anyway, I hope you guys have enjoyed my first ever vlog series. I had so much fun filming the entire thing, editing it and seeing it all come together. I hope to continue vlogging when I go on adventures around the world, and I may do some vlogs around London if we've got a particular exciting weekend going on.
I actually vlogged last weekend where me and Joe headed into London, but you'll have to wait till Sunday to see it!

Also, what do you guys think of me starting another YouTube channel? Where I create videos based around beauty and fashion? Let me know in the comments if you would be interested at all. I might just go ahead and do them anyway. Just need to get a good quality camera first, maybe I'll get one for my birthday - the big two five (25). We shall see.
